I'm a dedicated creative problem solver with more than two decades of experience in digital brand building and a proven track record of success.

I believe that creativity can add value to any business by taking new and innovative approaches that contribute to growth.

What gets me out of bed in the morning

Curiosity is my drive and marketing is my sandbox. I love to think new, make new, improve, push things forward, whether disruptive or incremental.

My way of working fuses creative thinking with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset to develop ideas and strategies that differentiate and deliver results.

I'm passionate about brands, design, advertising, storytelling, contemporary culture and emerging technologies. I particularly enjoy creating brand platforms and ensuring seamless communication across all touchpoints to create a cohesive experience.

I thrive when I get to master tricky challenges together with smart and inspiring people. Preferably in cross-functional teams, where I can bring in my creative perspective while breaking through the silos and getting the bigger picture.

How I became a digital marketing nerd

I studied communication design at the University of Wuppertal with Bazon Brock and Uwe Loesch. Besides my studies, I learned the ropes at the Wuppertal-based creative hot shop Boros. After graduation, I gained experience at some of Germany‘s most renowned communication agencies: Neue Digitale (now Publicis Sapient), Ogilvy, La Red, Kolle Rebbe (now Accenture Song) and Philipp und Keuntje, where I most recently co-led a business unit as Executive Creative Director and "Heimatleiter".

From 2021 to 2023 I moved to the client side to build and lead the in-house creative team at the Frankfurt-based start-up Emma - The Sleep Company across multiple international offices. There, as Global Head of Creation, I translated business strategies into creative solutions that helped the company achieve its ambitious goal of becoming the world's leading sleep brand.

Today, I work as Executive Creative Director at the strategic brand consultancy Des Wahnsinns Fette Beute, where I support family businesses to reach their next level.

In addition to my professional activities, I am committed to the next generation: From 2011 to 2023, I taught "creative strategies" at the University of Darmstadt. Here, I showed young talents practical approaches to strategically and conceptually tackle creative tasks in the communications industry. This included skills in storytelling and the orchestration of complex campaigns, as well as strategies to engage audiences.

In my personal life, I am happily wed to an opera director whom I admire for more than just her amazing work. We both love camping and have a little boy who kindly teaches me something new every day and shares a deep passion for comic books, board games and the European Middle Ages with me.
